Looks like it’s all been happening behind the scenes. Seems to have been a dispute immediately after opening.

Nok once told me the landlord by Nong Sim wanted to increase the rent something like 4 fold which is why she had to vacate.
Typical Thai landlord plan, increase rent because a business is successful, drive the tenant away then leave the premises empty for 10+ years

Are they 2 separate locations? Seems like that would be a pain to manage. 2 separate kitchens, 2 sets of equipment, ingredients and 2 sets of rent to pay?

Still think the book house at Nong Sim was the best location they had.

Anyway hope all is going well as she certainly seems like a grafter :)

Everything will come good,a slight overlap,Woodhouse midday until 8pm and Countrygrill from 3pm so nok busy in both places serving food.

Woodhouse better for songkran and beer specials will get a certain crowd in daily, good to save money sometimes 8-)

Not seen any update about tilapia/pla nin or cod being served 269 baht, all in the taste test 8-)

You'r a hard man Pomps. Guessing too late for you.

Sounds like more of a lifestyle choice than a business choice to not open until 3pm. If your totally missing breakfast and lunch why not just wait until 5pm to open. Can't imagine the 3 - 5pm slot is prime time, but I could be wrong :?:
