Homemade country sausage, mashed potatoes with sausage gravy and buttered peas.

I think we’ve all gone for the comfort food this evening with all this rain about.
I had a steak & mushroom pie, chips, beans & onion gravy followed by a summer fruit crumble with lashings of custard

I had tofu salad for "starters" then a kale steak with a side of lichens. For desert I licked two postage stamps.
I just love happy endings.

Well it’s not a Michelin star spread like other members but the air fryer test drive was reasonably successful **
Fries done straight from frozen in 22 mins without any waiting to heat up the vat of oil, cook & wait for it to cool all the time worried about The Girl managing to pull it over herself.
They were loverly & crisp on the outside & light & fluffy inside, actually better than deep fried.
The pizza was just warmed up in the normal halogen cooker which I have to confess I should have thawed out a bit so it didn’t blacken on the edges.

Mrs N went for cheesy chips while I had a light dusting of bbq.
