Had a late lunch today, fried chicken, sticky rice and bamboo shoot soup so just had a sandwich for dinner. Pastrami Reuben. Pastrami, swiss cheese, sauerkraut and homemade thousand island dressing along with a few tater tots.

I cannot remember the last time I ate fish sticks (fingers). It's been at least 30 years ago as they just aren't something I think about eating. Shopping this past Saturday I noticed a package of frozen fish sticks and thought that might be something to try out in the air fryer. So, this evening it was air fried fish sticks (fingers), tater tots, purple sweet corn and homemade tartar sauce. They were okay. I'd probably fix them again that way, certainly healthier than my usual frying in oil. I am glad I had the tartar sauce though. Mrs. S air fried a few chicken wings to go with her somtam. Air fryer = so far, so good. ++)(*

Mrs. Shado and her air fryer are on a roll. This evening she made tom jued moo sap fak khaio and khao moo daeng (winter melon & pork soup and red pork with rice). She also cooked up some pork belly in the air fryer. Must admit, both were delicious. The pork was tender, juicy and flavorful.

Mrs. S is at it again with her air fryer. This evening it is moo sam chan (หมูสามชั้น) = pork belly with nam jim jao (chili dipping sauce) and khao niao dam (black sticky rice). Really tasty.
