We had pizza too. A surprise from Pizza Co. An 18" NY style pizza that was pretty good.

We picked it up for takeout so didn't see one on a delivery bike. It was full size and tasted good -- no complaints from me. Just how I like a pizza.

Mrs. S made spaghetti beef bolognese and toasted garlic parmesan bread this evening.

I can’t work out what days the food stalls attend down outside 7-11, it’s always hit & miss. I’d have thought Saturday evening, not raining on a long weekend would have warranted plenty of choice but alas not so. No noodle soup, roti, satay, bbq hot dogs, coconut shakes or pad thai to name the ones I frequent.
Luckily chicken & rice man was there (he’s there more often than not) so that is dinner tonight

American chow mein. A family recipe that is older than I am, maybe even going back to the depression era. I have absolutely no idea why they called it chow mein 'cause it is really just a casserole of pork, noodles, celery, onion, tomato soup, and cheese. It's comfort food for me and I make it occasionally. The wife likes it.

Triple yellow label discount at M&S. Might have to eat all 3 trifles as they're all sell by today.
