That is one damn fine looking carrot cake. If it tastes half as good as it looks it's a winner! I'd pay 95 bath for a piece of that just to find out. I hope you win the lottery, purchase a whole carrot cake (for a mere 1,140 baht) and share it with you forum friends. :eusa-dance: *****^^

This evening Mrs. S outdid herself. Kor moo yang (คอหมูย่าง) with nam jim jaew (น้ำจิ้มแจ่ว) and khao niao (ข้าวเหนียว). Grilled pork neck with chili sauce and sticky rice. She marinated the pork neck over night and put it the air fryer this evening. Outstanding! Moist, juicy, tender and flavorful. No problem eating it even with my one-sided chewing. This one may become a regular at our house. She also had a plate of steamed veggies that didn't make it into the photo.

Wandering around Nong Prajak as you do we decided for a bite to eat. We came across this restaurant which The Girl took a liking to the koi in the front pond so popped in. Looked familiar inside & turned out to be the same chap as Ku Garden. Apparently this is his first restaurant.
Food was excellent 8-)

Nuea yang delivered from a nearby friend. Delicious. The highlight is the sweet and spicy sauce.
I just love happy endings.
