Say what Shado? Is that an Ozarks thing? Never hears of crispy fried tuna patties in my live.

By the way is it Tuna or Tunar? I can hear and r in there :happy-partydance:

Not specific to the Ozarks, fried tuna patties/cakes are just another version of fish cakes or croquettes. Salmon croquettes/patties are quite common and basically tuna is just substituted for salmon as it's usually cheaper or more available. Scores of tuna patty/cake recipes on the interweb. I like them with creamed peas sauce but also with tarter sauce or a sauce made with sour cream and fresh dill.

I did eat tuna patties as kid as my mom made them fairly often. Canned tuna was at hand in the Ozarks whereas fresh seafood, apart from local freshwater fish, wasn't readily available in our land-locked piece of paradise.
