Re: What are you Having for Dinner Tonight?
Yes, I think Mrs. Shado's hankering for things like Subway and Krispy Kreme have a lot to do with accessibility. My sister and brother-in-law have six Burger King restaurants in the Hot Springs, Arkansas area. Mrs. Shado loves going to Burger King when we are visiting and never seems to tire of eating there. Burger King finally opened here in Udon Thani and she could hardly care less. I think maybe we have eaten at the Udon Town BK twice. Just no novelty there.
I do think however that if Subway does eventually open in Udon we will probably be frequent customers. Mrs. S loves to load her sandwiches up with veggies and, like pomps, I'm a bit partial to the meatball subs. Also, like Nigglyb, I'm fond of the honey oat bread and its sugar.

Snacking this evening. Mrs. S cooked up a bunch of chicken wings in the air fryer and we had those with some khao niao mai (ข้าวเหนียวใหม่) = new crop sticky rice. Outstanding.

Oh yes, I forgot about Terminal 21 in Pattaya. I like that mall and the one in BKK.

It’s great. Think it’s a bit bigger than the Bangkok one. Been built on my old stomping ground of bars & Kiss 24 hour food & drink

I know the T21 shopping mall well in BKK - a great place to go for a dump with the self cleaning water jets on the toilets.

I had to consciously read the ever so small labelling to make sure I didn’t press Lady Wash so I didn’t give my b0ll0cks a good rinsing
