Yes, rice pudding. Lightly sprinkled with cinnamon.

The missus asked for pizza this evening. Italian sausage, onions & mushrooms.

Yes, I note that Pizza is starting to be a Friday night thing in our house too, you can't beat a bit of Italian sausage.

We've come to the conclusion that Italian sausage is pretty much the go-to topping for pizzas here. We've tried the available pepperoni, salami, ham, and seafood and we will have those occasionally but Italian sausage is easy to make and is favored by our nieces and nephews who want pizza whenever they visit.

Oh wow! That plate definitely has me in the mood for a spicy Indian combo. Gonna have to satisfy that craving soon.

I just had a tray of roast potatoes from a stall in UD Town food street. Crisped up in the air fryer when I got home then eaten by dipping in a small bowl of thick onion gravy. Simple, probably not healthy, but lush

Decided to treat myself last night. Theres a newish restaurant close to my hotel which, I read, is going for Michelin rating by the name of L'Arome by the sea

Man, it was incredible. By far the best foodie experience that I've had in Thailand.

Cost me nearly THB 3000 but, it was worth every penny - a similar meal in the UK would have been a few hundred pounds.

If anyone is down Phuket way, I can recommend it thoroughly. Looking at the FB site, they had the Thai Taekwondo olympic team there recently including Gold medallist "Tennis" ..... wish I'd been there that night!

Good find Bill Tong. We don't go to Phuket often but when on holiday we like to try some of the finer offerings that may be available. Phuket lobster and giant river prawns or tiger prawns are typically our go-to choices but we enjoy trying new venues as well. If the food is exceptional we don't mind paying a bit more.
