Chicken satay followed by mango & sticky rice

I'd kill for a feed of satay sticks.
Many years ago I was at a night market at Khon Kaen Uni. I ordered what I thought was 5 satay sticks by showing the stall holder 5 fingers. The bloke turns up at the table with 25 satay sticks, peanut sauce and onions/chilli. He assumed I wanted 50b worth. They were 2b a pop in those days. I had a laugh, coughed up the 50b and did my best to wash them down with a few Singha long necks.

This evening the missus made one of my favorites. ไข่ยัดไส้ (khai yat sai) = stuffed eggs. Thai omelet stuffed with pork, peas, carrots, onion and tomato. They are a little tricky to make but Mrs. S has the technique down pretty well.

The wife got this celery at the RPS-Central this past weekend and it's the freshest we've found in a very long time. ฿50 for a package.
