Think I’ll pass on an extra 100 baht for a bit of burnt foliage topping

I stayed in Ubon Ratchathani last night whilst picking up some my gear from the g/fs place.

Been a few times but, never alone so, researched a bit and found an Italian restaurant called Sapori. Best pizza I've had over here - spicy salami, salmon, prawns and chillis. Followed it up with a tasty panna cotta.

Would post pictures but, they wont upload.......I think it's a resizing issue

I had a steak & onion pie, mash potatoes & peas with onion gravy followed by an apple crumble & custard.

Nigglys top culinary tips …….
Use carnation milk in the mash
Put some fried shallots to the onion gravy granules
Add half a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the custard

This evening Mrs. S made khao moo dang (red pork with rice) and tom jeud moo sap (clear pork soup with daikon, carrot and Thai celery). Tasty indeed!
