As mentioned on the "traffic" thread, just finished having roast duck from MK this evening. Mrs. S made some rice and pak bung (stir fried morning glory) to go with it.

Yep, big ass bbq.
We’ve got 3 burners in the go & more bags of stuff than I can count.
Me & The Boy were given a nice piece of lamb the other day so we’ve sliced it & chucked it on too. It’s pretty good , never had bbq lamb before

Mrs. S made kaeng khio wan (Thai green curry) this evening. Served with khao and khaep moo (แคบหมู). Another of my favorites.

Had some fixin's left from yesterday's Tex-Mex so made a few crispy tacos. Beef, frijoles, cheese, lettuce, fresh salsa and sour cream.

One of the missus' friends gave her a homegrown, organic cabbage. So this evening we had stuffed (beef, pork and rice) cabbage rolls and mashed potatoes. Not had cabbage rolls in ages, really hit the spot!

One of the biggest changes in my time in Thailand is the availability of falang comfort food..

I remember being force fed rice soup by my ex wife many years back when I had a slight sniffle.

Still feeling a bit post vaccine sickly tonight and my g/f offered to knock some up. What I really fancied was some custard.

A quick tap on the Grab app and I had some pulled pork quesadillas and bread and butter pudding as a side order to the custard.

Feeling better already!

Good combo. We have quesadillas fairly often as they are easy to make and just about any combination of ingredients works. I'm getting a bit hungry for custard myself. Maybe tomorrow I'll make a batch of rice pudding. Need to check the fridge to make sure I have enough eggs.
