Tried to make a florentine pizza but with quail eggs. Found the membrane is too thick to crack them open intact. They just squashed in my fingers breaking the yolks.
Tasted okay though

My go to website the northern nester so 4 maybe 5 quail eggs to 1 chicken egg so omelette for me would be 15
Quail egg scissors. Problem solved. Cigar cutter might work.

Fark, you lot are looking into this more than is necessary.
I was just knocking up a pizza from a frozen base, can of tomato & oregano sauce & frozen pizza cheese (I guess this is leftover scrapings from different blocks)
It was nearly finished when I spotted the tray of quail eggs so decided to crack a few on top.
I did have the foresight while it was bubbling away to check Google to see if this was a real topping & it is, Florentine.
