Got round to compressing photos so, here's the pizzaBill Tong wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 7:35 am I stayed in Ubon Ratchathani last night whilst picking up some my gear from the g/fs place.
Been a few times but, never alone so, researched a bit and found an Italian restaurant called Sapori. Best pizza I've had over here - spicy salami, salmon, prawns and chillis. Followed it up with a tasty panna cotta.
Would post pictures but, they wont upload.......I think it's a resizing issue![]()
And the panna cotta
Not as satisfying as making your own like you Shado but, it was exceptional

I can't remember the last time I've eaten panna cotta, had to be in the States years ago. Never tried to make it but might look up a recipe. Mrs. S makes a killer tiramisu that we are about due to have again. Mascarpone and lady fingers have become a common shelf items here now so all ingredients are readily available. We have the Amaretto on hand.

You’ll have to squeeze more meals in.
How about “dupper” to fill the gap between dinner & supper.
Or, wait, wait, “lunner” between lunch & dinner.
I’m on a roll here

Re: What are you Having for Dinner Tonight?
I grew up in an area of rural Missouri that was settled primarily by German immigrants during the 19th century. Five meals a day was a common practice, especially if field work (planting, haying, harvesting, putting up ensilage, etc.) was being conducted and neighbors would be helping each other. The wives would bring mid-morning and mid afternoon snacks to the field and dinner would be eaten at the house. Of course, they had names for each meal.
Vocab Pronunciation Translation:
die Mahlzeit dee MAHL-tciyt the meal
die Hauptmahlzeit dee HOWPT-mahl-tsiyt the main meal
das Frühstück dahs FROO-shtuhk the breakfast
das Mittagessen dahs mee-TAHG-eh-sehn the lunch
das Abendbrot dahs AH-behnd-broht the dinner, the last meal
das Abendessen dahs AH-behnd-eh-sehn the dinner
die Zwischenmahlzeit dee TCWEE-shehn-mahl-tciyt the snack between meals
das Pausenbrot dahs POW-zehn-broht the snack, packed lunch
das Müsli dahs MEE-sleh the cereals
die Backprodukte dee BAHK-proh-dook-teh the baked goods
My first wife was of German descent and her grandmother cooked some of the most delicious food I have ever had the privilege of eating. As time has passed and mechanization has eliminated the need for shared resources the practice of five meals a day has slowly faded away.

Re: What are you Having for Dinner Tonight?
Snackin' this evening. Mrs. S had a late som tam lunch with her friends this afternoon so not interested in dinner. I found some fish sticks (fingers) in the freezer so fried those up along with some tater tots and homemade tartar sauce. Not a big fan of fish fingers but these were tasty enough and I'd buy them again at C2MU.
