I was going to have some baked beans on buttered thickly sliced granary toast but Mrs N walked in with this.

I rarely eat peanut butter. I like it but it's just not part of my regular diet. I've found, however, that peanut butter spread on saltines goes very well with beef stew. I'm partial to the extra crunchy. A satisfying evening meal.

Interesting combo Shads, not mad on peanut butter but if the combo works then next question, which peanut brand ,a few out there, some better than others
Cauli cheese is lovely even as an option with a sunday roast

I use Jif peanut butter. One jar will last me nearly a year though. I'm just not a big peanut butter fan. I'll use more it as a cooking ingredient than as a sandwich spread. I've asked the missus to pick up a nice head of caulifower if she sees one. That's something else we don't eat often but do enjoy from time to time. Mrs. Shado loves caulifower with cheese sauce and surprisingly (for a Thai) she likes many cheese dishes, except for blue cheese. She doesn't care for peanut butter in any way, shape or form.

I just happened to recall that even though Mrs. S doesn't eat peanut butter she loves the satay peanut sauce which has a flavor and consistency similar to peanut butter. Go figure.

Choosy moms choose Jif. I'm an extra crunchy fan.

So jif it is,forget skippy brand and crunchy option over smooth
Trouble with name jif always reminds me of a washing up liquid brand
