Tried to make a florentine pizza but with quail eggs. Found the membrane is too thick to crack them open intact. They just squashed in my fingers breaking the yolks.

Tasted okay though 👌

My go to website the northern nester :shock: so 4 maybe 5 quail eggs to 1 chicken egg so omelette for me would be 15 8-)

Fark, you lot are looking into this more than is necessary.

I was just knocking up a pizza from a frozen base, can of tomato & oregano sauce & frozen pizza cheese (I guess this is leftover scrapings from different blocks)
It was nearly finished when I spotted the tray of quail eggs so decided to crack a few on top.
I did have the foresight while it was bubbling away to check Google to see if this was a real topping & it is, Florentine. 😋
