This evening Mrs. S made cashew chicken and fried shrimp wontons. I'm stuffed.

Mrs. S buys the cashews in bulk and roasts them herself. Recently she has been using the air fryer to roast the nuts and this method produces the most delicious results yet. After roasting you can season them any way you want. A fraction of the cost of buying roasted, salted cashews and much fresher and tastier.

I looked at kippers in M&S yesterday as I fancied them for breakfast. Thought better of it as I'm picking g/f up from airport today and kippery belches are not an attractive trait. Mind you, after 24 hours travelling, she will probably taste like the gusset of a Turks underpants

Fear not Bill Tong. In the view of Thais, especially Thai ladies, I imagine kippers are right up there with bpla tuu (ปลาทู). Mrs. Shado eats them at least three times a week and they may very well be the most coveted fish in the Kingdom. Although not exactly bpla tuu, kippers may be a suitable substitute for them. I suspect your g/f may become a fan of kippers. They will remind her of home. Image

I've not had the opportunity to get that close to a Turk's underwear but be sure I shall add it to my bucket list.

Double cheeseburger and fries. I grilled the burgers and Mrs. S cooked the spuds in the air fryer.
